What we process and why

Delivering the website

When you open a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested page. Our server and our network provider Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) process this data to deliver the site and to protect it against attacks. Server logs are kept for a short time and then deleted. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Game progress in your browser

The games save settings, statistics and unfinished games in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Player account (Google sign-in)

Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your Google account ID, first and last name, email address and profile picture. We store these together with the player name you choose, your IP address and the time of your last sign-in. Your player name and picture are shown to other players in high score tables and online games; your email address is never shown.

Your account is shared with our Turkish sister site Rekor Oyun, which is run by the same company: signing in with the same Google account there gives you the same player name and coins. We keep the data until you delete your account, which you can do at any time on your account page. Legal basis: providing the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Signing in uses two cookies that keep you signed in for 30 days and a session cookie; they are strictly necessary for this feature.

High score tables

If you choose to submit a score, we store the name you enter, the score, the date and a technical identifier to prevent abuse. The name and score are shown publicly. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Analytics

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand which games are played and how the site performs. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through the privacy settings link.

Advertising

We do not show ads at the moment. If we start doing so, we will ask for your consent where required and update this policy before the change.

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to a data protection authority. To use your rights, email us at the address above.
